Company Overview Skyroot Aerospace is a pioneering private aerospace company in India, focused on developing innovative space launch vehicles. Founded by former ISRO engineers, we are dedicated to making space accessible and advancing aerospace technology. Role Overview The Engineering Manager for the Structures Group will lead a team of engineers in the design, analysis, and testing of structural components for our launch vehicles and other structures. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead a team of engineers to develop innovative structural solutions for our launch vehicles and other structures. • Collaborate with other departments such as Propulsion, Avionics, and Software Engineering to ensure seamless integration of structural components. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the Structures Group. Requirements: • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. • Strong understanding of finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and other simulation tools. • Experience with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
