As a Lead Software Engineer, your role will be to technically guide the team, ensure design excellence, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological solutions.

→ Your Mission

As a Lead Software Engineer, you are the technical pillar of your team. Your role is twofold: actively contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological solutions while mentoring and developing the skills of the Software Engineers on your team, ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of software architectures.

You could be involved in various types of projects such as:

• The design and development of a software and Ops architecture for industrializing an AI agent to assist in writing business documents.

• The development of a large-scale data processing and transformation pipeline for a client in the logistics sector.

• The evolution of functionalities and deployment of our dialogue product for setting up conversational agents (agentic approaches, RAG, hybrid).

→ Your Responsibilities

• Define, validate, and enforce technical and architectural choices (design patterns, technologies, best practices) in collaboration with architects.

• Ensure technical excellence and maintainability of the code (in-depth code reviews, quality standards, performance).

• Actively participate in the development of the most complex or strategic features of the product/project.

• Lead technical meetings (architecture reviews, tooling choices) and participate in sprint reviews in direct connection with the client/product.

• Be proactive in the continuous improvement of development tools, methods, and processes (CI/CD, DevOps).

• Coach and mentor the project team, fostering their technical development.

• Contribute to the long-term technical strategy and the industrialization of cross-functional internal projects.

✅ Must have

• Diploma from a top engineering school or a Master's degree (Bac + 5) in software engineering.

• Significant experience (minimum 4 years) in software development, on complex applications in production.

• In-depth expertise in at least one major programming language (Java / Kotlin / PHP / TypeScript / Python/...).

• Mastery of architecture design and validation.

• Solid experience with a back-end framework (Spring, Symfony, Nest.js, Django/Fast API) and/or front-end framework (Angular, React, Vue.js).

• Ability to define a CI/CD strategy and advanced mastery of Git and continuous integration/deployment tools.

• Expertise in the functioning of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, and in query optimization.

• Mastery of Docker and DevOps/Ops practices.

• First successful experience in technical leadership of a project.

🌈 Nice to have

• Mastery of Kubernetes and IaC practices (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible...).

• Significant experience with major cloud tools (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OpenStack...).

• Experience with event management tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ…) and distributed systems.

• Basic UI/UX skills to be able to challenge functional specifications.

• Knowledge or strong interest in technologies related to Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
