Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Our technology brings millions of people together at events around the world. We are looking for a talented Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! As a key member of our SRE organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure to support Cvent's growing business. This includes developing and implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems. You will also work closely with our development teams to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Responsibilities: • Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure to support Cvent's growing business. • Develop and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems. • Work closely with development teams to design and implement solutions that meet the needs of our customers. • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for Cvent's infrastructure. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure and services. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • At least 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field. • Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic. • Knowledge of logging frameworks such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
