Lead Shopware Engineer (m/w/d)

In exclusive cooperation with our partner, a manufacturing company with customers in the B2B and B2C fields, we are looking for you as Lead Shopware Engineer (m/w/d) for the location in Marsberg.

The role combines deep technical responsibility with genuine leadership: You will shape the further development of the B2B and B2C shop landscape, including API connections to international marketplaces, and gradually take over team leadership.

Aufgaben

• You will take over the technical further development and maintenance of existing B2B and B2C shops based on Shopware 6.
• You are responsible for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of complex API integrations, particularly REST APIs connecting to marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress.
• You will work hands-on in the backend and frontend, always keeping technical feasibility and costs in mind.
• You will gradually take over the professional and disciplinary team leadership of a Shopware team.
• You are the central point of contact for management regarding technical questions, project progress, and cost estimates.
• You actively contribute to planning future shop, API, and marketplace strategies and bring forward-looking thinking for scaling and team development.
• You support recruiting processes, performance evaluations, and the further development of your team members.

Qualifikation

• Fundamental experience as Senior Shopware 6 Developer
• Very good knowledge in PHP, Shopware architecture, and plugin development
• Tiefgehendes understanding of REST APIs and experience with frequently changing API specifications
• Very good technical understanding in the JavaScript/TypeScript environment, ideally with reference to Vue.js, React, or Nuxt
• Able to read, evaluate, and realistically estimate frontend code
• First experience in professional leadership, technical responsibility, or acting team leader of advantage
• Outstanding hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility, and communication strength
• Very good German language skills (C1)
