As a Lead Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and infrastructure. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of security engineers, developing and implementing security strategies, and responding to security incidents. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity. Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor a team of security operations engineers. * Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures. * Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts. * Identify and respond to security incidents. * Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. * Manage and maintain security tools and technologies. * Collaborate with other teams to ensure security best practices are followed. * Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. * Participate in incident response and post-incident analysis. * Provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in security operations. * Experience leading and mentoring a team. * Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. * Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.). * Experience with incident response and handling. * Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
