To transform customer inquiries into economically viable and implementable battery storage projects, we are looking for someone to be responsible for project development, lead a team, and build processes for a growing pipeline.

Your Tasks

💡 Your Role

As Lead Project Development (m/f/d), you will be responsible for how our battery storage projects come to life: from the initial customer inquiry to handover for project implementation. You will lead the project development team and build scalable processes for a growing pipeline.

⚡ Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the project pipeline from feasibility study to investment decision by the customer

• Close coordination with customers, grid operators, external partners, and internal teams (Sales, Project Operations, Purchasing, Product Development)

• Persuasive representation of our projects to approval authorities, municipalities, and grid operators, from the initial presentation to approval

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the project development team

• Structured handover of developed projects to Project Operations

• Development of standardized processes, templates, and evaluation criteria

Your Profile

🎯 Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent

• Several years of experience in the project development of energy projects, ideally battery storage, PV, or C&I energy solutions

• Understanding of grid connection processes, approval procedures, and economic feasibility studies

• Strong communication skills and persuasive ability: You can explain complex topics clearly and win over authorities, grid operators, and customers for our projects

• Structured, solution-oriented approach and enjoyment in building processes

• German C2, good English skills are an advantage

• A plus: You have a large network in the renewable energy industry, e.g., with external project developers, grid operators, or authorities
