Job description
For our client in the logistics sector, we are seeking a highly experienced data professional to join a strategic enterprise data platform transformation program. As a Principal / Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data standardization, governance, and analytics across a global organization while collaborating with business and technology leaders. Responsibilities * Lead complex data analysis initiatives across multiple business domains, driving consistency, quality, and alignment of enterprise data across a global data platform. * Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Information Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts to translate business capabilities into scalable data models and analytical solutions. * Analyze and validate business requirements, source data, transformation logic, and data mappings to ensure semantic consistency, high data quality, and alignment with enterprise architecture and Data Mesh principles. * Perform data profiling, root cause analysis, and identify opportunities to improve data quality, governance, and standardization across the organization. * Define and continuously improve analytical standards, data validation processes, documentation, and best practices supporting enterprise-wide data products. * Prepare and present analytical documentation, data mappings, reports, and visualizations to support business and technical decision-making. * Mentor other analysts, promote analytical excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis practices across delivery teams. Requirements * 10+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Data Mapping, or a similar enterprise data role. * Proven experience working within large-scale enterprise data platforms and complex Agile environments, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams. * Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data warehousing, lakehouse concepts, and modern data transformation approaches. * Hands-on experience with Data Mesh, data governance, metadata management, master data management (MDM), and enterprise data quality frameworks. * Strong analytical skills with practical experience in data profiling, source data analysis, and defining transformation logic. * Experience working with Databricks or similar data analytics platforms. * Advanced SQL skills and practical knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation. * Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or AWS. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders. * Ability to influence analytical standards, drive cross-functional collaboration, and mentor less experienced analysts. * Software development experience will be considered an advantage. * Fluent English, both written and spoken.
