Lead Power Platform Developer

Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Power Platform Developer with 8 years of experience to lead the design, development, and adoption of enterprise-grade solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role provides technical leadership across initiatives and ensures solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft architecture, governance, and delivery best practices. The role requires deep hands-on expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to guide teams and stakeholders through the development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: • Providing technical guidance and oversight for Power Platform projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions that meet business requirements and user needs. • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends, best practices, and industry standards to continuously improve skills and knowledge. • Mentoring and guiding junior developers and other team members on Power Platform development best practices and architecture. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and testing procedures. • Identifying and mitigating technical risks and issues, and developing contingency plans as needed. • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture, including data models, workflows, and integrations with other systems. • Collaborating with the IT organization to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems. Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents). • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
