JOB ROLE : Lead- Operations control Logistics REPORTING TO: Vertical Head - Logistic TYPE OF ROLE: People Manager role. LOCATION: Corporate Office, Mumbai. BU/ DIVISION: Logistics JOB PURPOSE Based at the Head Office, the Lead of Operations Control will serve as the central nerves of the supply chain. You will lead a high-performing team of associates to monitor, analyse, and drive Pan-India operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that warehouse performance (CFA/In-house) and transportation operations are running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. • Lead and manage a team of associates to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and effective communication. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with operations, supply chain, and logistics. • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new processes and procedures. • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively. • Identify training needs and provide training and development opportunities to team members. • Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Develop and implement metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement. • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new processes and procedures. • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively. • Identify training needs and provide training and development opportunities to team members. • Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
