Lead Mobile Developer (m/w/d) in Digital Health Startup

Location: Nuremberg
Full-time - starting immediately

We help people with food intolerances quickly and uncomplicatedly to fewer complaints. We do this with our app viatolea: Based on a nutrition and symptom diary, we can identify individual intolerances using modern technology and expert knowledge. Then the personalized nutrition adjustment starts in the app – as a registered medical device.

Tasks

You're not just a developer. You're an architect, decision-maker, and maker.

You take over technical responsibility for our platform and app. You design the architecture, make technology decisions, and build a product that has real impact.

For someone who likes to move more than just writing code and building a product that helps thousands of people :-)

• App development with Flutter: You design and implement new features and expand existing functionalities of our app.
• Backend development and database: You are responsible for setting up, developing, and maintaining our backend and related databases.
• Data Analytics: You support the further development of our algorithms and enable the team to work with data-based insights.

Qualification

Completed master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Fluent German skills (at least C1), as the app is targeted at the German market.
• Experience: Several years of experience in mobile development (preferably Flutter)
• Leadership mindset: You think like a Tech Lead, take responsibility, and make decisions.
• Hands-on: You get involved, find solutions, and don't shy away from challenges.
• Startup mentality: You want to shape things, not manage them. Concern structures are not your thing.
• Plus points: Experience in setting up scalable architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, Security.
