Facility: GSS ND Mandan Sunset Location: Mandan, ND Address: 1011 Boundary Street Northwestand, Mandan, ND 58554, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.50 Job Summary The Lead Medication Assistant organizes and assigns the residents medications and provides nursing care within the scope of practice and state and federal regulations. Essential Job Functions * Administer and document medications according to physician orders and established procedures. * Monitor residents for medication side effects and adverse reactions, reporting any concerns to the nurse. * Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating. * Provide basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with ambulation. * Observe and document residents’ conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatments. * Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents. * Follow all facility policies and procedures. * Supervise and provide guidance to other Medication Assistants. * Order and maintain medication supplies. * Participate in resident care planning. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) certification. * Current, unencumbered CMA certification in the state of North Dakota. * Experience in long-term care preferred. * Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. * Knowledge of medication administration procedures and regulations. * Ability to maintain confidentiality.
