The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the laboratory team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and guidance to the laboratory team, including training and mentoring staff. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA. • Maintain high-quality patient care by ensuring accurate and timely test results. • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes. • Develop and manage the laboratory budget. • Participate in on-call rotation as needed. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field. • Master's degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role. • ASCP certification or equivalent. • Strong communication and leadership skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
