Lead Medical Affairs Nephrology DACH (m/f/d)

As Medical Affairs Lead Nephrology DACH, you will lead and develop the Medical Advisor team in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will ensure a consistent DACH approach while simultaneously ensuring that local medical requirements are adequately considered.

• Line and functional management of the (field-based) Medical Advisors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

• Development and continuous advancement of the Medical Affairs Strategy Nephrology DACH

• Consolidation of country contributions into a joint DACH Medical Plan

• Cross-country prioritization of medical activities and resources

• Planning, allocation, forecasting, and monitoring of the Medical Budget Nephrology DACH

• Representation of the Medical Advisor team in DACH-wide cross-functional teams and European committees

• Strategic collaboration with Commercial, Market Access, MSL Lead, Patient Advocacy, and other functions

• Coordination of collaboration with our European parent organization OPEL as well as other European and global Medical functions

• First point of escalation for medical, organizational, and resource-related issues

• University degree in natural sciences or medicine; PhD, MD, or PharmD desirable

• In-depth experience in Medical Affairs

• Strong leadership skills and enjoyment in developing employees

• Strong skills in prioritization, decision-making, and resource management

• Confident cross-functional and international stakeholder management

• High degree of integrity, judgment, and compliance orientation

• Very good English skills; German language skills and other DACH languages are an advantage
