In this role, you are the one who sets the direction for the engineering team. You guide, coordinate, and ensure that the technical content is always correct. But you don't just stand on the sidelines: you also work on product development, customer-specific designs, and smart optimizations. You are the link between technology, organization, and customer, monitoring quality and ensuring projects run smoothly. Additionally, you actively think about improvements and help the department to continue getting better.

What do you bring?

• A HBO/WO education in engineering, such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• Affinity with the industrial sector
• You can work with 3D CAD design packages
• You speak Dutch and English

Where will you be working?

The company where this is about is a family business that has been active since the 1950s. They develop customer-specific components for industrial machines that you encounter in various industries worldwide, such as the food industry, packaging machines, logistics, horticulture and marine/offshore. They develop custom solutions that they realize in-house, which allows you to see projects come to life. It is a company with an incredibly flat, informal working atmosphere where personal initiative and creativity are highly valued.
