Your Tasks

As Lead IT Operations Engineer (gn), you will take on a central function in the Information Systems department and actively contribute to ensuring that our IT infrastructure remains scalable, secure, and future-proof. You will shape the transition from a support-driven IT to standardized, cloud-based, and largely automated processes – and build prospectively for the Head of Information Systems. • You design, plan, and operate complex Microsoft-365- and Azure-configurations (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Entra, Azure) – including SSO/IdP, MFA, RBAC, Least Privilege, and Access Reviews
• You are responsible for incident-, problem-, and change-management according to ITIL principles and ensure the compliance with SLAs
• You handle IT-security incidents independently, coordinate the incident response (EDR, M365 Defender, Compliance Center), and work closely with the SOC
• You support the audit of information security certification according to ISO 27001
• You standardize, develop further, and automate IT-operations processes in a cloud-only environment – including building automation and KI-supported supporting functions (Self-Service, Workflow, Scripting)
• You create and maintain technical documentation (systems, processes, authorizations, projects), ensure knowledge transfer, and build sustainable representation structures on – prospectively as a representative of the Head of Information Systems

Your Strengths

• You bring fundamental practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Entra, Azure) and have independently planned, implemented, and operated complex M365- and cloud-configurations
• You have a very good understanding of IT-process standardization and ITIL-based incident-, problem-, and change-management
• You have experience in IT-security operations and incident response (EDR, M365 Defender, Compliance Center) as well as basic knowledge of ISO 27001
• You communicate securely in German (C1-level) and can understand yourself professionally in English (B2-level)
• Ideal would be if you already have experience with automating IT processes (scripting, workflow automation, M365-automations), cloud-only strategies, and/or first leadership tasks – and bring interest in KI-supported supporting functions
