Aufgaben

• Development and implementation of homologation strategies for autonomous driving systems (AD)
• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the AFGBV and the StVG for autonomous vehicles
• Responsibility for achieving and demonstrating system compliance against legal and regulatory requirements
• Closely working together with various departments and teams to define, create, and align type approval and homologation documentation
• Implementation and monitoring of risk management processes based on legal and regulatory requirements
• Analysis and interpretation of national and international regulations in the field of automated and autonomous driving
• Accompanying government, audit, and certification processes as part of type approval

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree program in the field of vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, computer science or a comparable field
• Multiple years of professional experience in the field of homologation or type approval in the automotive industry
• In-depth knowledge of Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
• Good understanding of European type approval requirements and relevant regulatory processes
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (ISO 21448, ISO 26262, UNECE R155/R156)
• Safe handling of technical documentation as well as regulatory requirements
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style combined with a high level of quality and detail awareness
• Outstanding communication and team skills, as well as a high degree of self-responsibility and ownership
• Hands-on mentality, resilience, and flexibility in a dynamic environment with challenging tasks
• Fluent German and English language skills (min. C1)
