About the role As a Lead Gardener you'll be responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of gardening tasks, ensuring the highest quality of work for our residential and commercial clients. You'll work closely with the team to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard, while also maintaining a safe and tidy workspace. Key responsibilities include: • Overseeing and executing gardening tasks, including pruning, weeding, mulching, and planting. • Maintaining high-quality standards for all gardening work, ensuring client satisfaction. • Collaborating with the team to ensure effective project management and timely completion of projects. • Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace, adhering to company health and safety policies. • Providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies. • Contributing to the growth and success of the company through innovative ideas and a positive attitude. What we're looking for: • 3+ years' experience as a Lead Gardener or similar role. • Strong understanding of gardening principles, including plant identification, pruning, and soil care. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members. • Ability to lift up to 25kg and work in a physically demanding environment. • Current driver's license (not required but desirable).
