Lead Functional Consultant - SAP SD IS Retail

We are hiring a Lead Functional Consultant - SAP SD IS Retail to lead end-to-end functional delivery across multiple countries, channels, and operating models. You will drive SAP SD and IS Retail design, author WRICEF functional specs, and align offshore build with functional intent while guiding testing through UAT. Join us to improve processes at scale!

Responsibilities

• Convert business needs into advanced capabilities using best-in-class standard packages
• Assess localization or enhancement needs and document clear business cases for decisions
• Elicit and document functional requirements to guide application design and development
• Design solutions, configure the system, and write detailed WRICEF functional specifications
• Align with offshore development teams so technical delivery matches functional requirements and quality standards
• Run Unit/Functional testing and support integration testing and UAT execution
• Deliver scalable, sustainable, and integrated Business Solutions across multiple Formats, Channels, Countries, and Business Models
• Enable Change Management by creating training content and supporting organizational transformation efforts
• Provide 3rd Level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across all European Operating Companies in scope
• Partner with peers across applications/modules to ensure seamless integration
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal cooperation
• Spot opportunities for business process and system enhancements with the vendor and drive continuous improvement by evaluating work processes and user experiences

Requirements

• Proven track record of 10+ years implementing SAP applications
• Advanced expertise in SAP SD and IS Retail modules
• Working knowledge of WRICEF functional specification design and configuration activities
• Experience coordinating offshore development teams and leading Unit/Functional testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Strong experience in Change Management, delivering training, and supporting organizational transformation
• Practical experience providing 3rd Level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across multiple operating companies
• Thorough understanding of business process design across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models
