Lead Finance Manager & Operations (m/w/d) - Tech-Scale-up | Berlin (hybrid)

For a dynamic, technology-driven SaaS/Tech-Scale-up in Berlin, we are looking for a Lead Finance Manager & Operations (m/w/d) who will connect finance, reporting, and operational steering closely with the founders – hands-on, structured, and with much ownership.

Aufgaben

• End-to-End responsibility for finance & operations-related financial processes (Order-to-Cash / Purchase-to-Pay / Monthly closing-near reporting).
• Cash flow & liquidity management, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analyses for growth and runway.
• Building and further development of management reporting (KPIs, dashboards, unit economics) for internal decision-makers and external stakeholders.
• Finance operations & process design: automation, standardization, tool optimization (e.g. interfaces, data quality, workflows).
• Steering and coordination of external partners (e.g. tax consultants, banks, auditors) as well as ensuring efficient processes.
• Closely working together with the founders – you are a sparring partner for operational decisions and scaling questions.
• Perspective: expansion of the finance function (e.g. taking over leadership, building a small team).

Qualifikation

• Degree in business administration, finance, or controlling, or comparable qualification.
• Multiple years of professional experience in the finance field (ideally scale-up/startup/SaaS or dynamic growth environment).
• Strong hands-on mentality: you take action, not just control.
• Very good skills in controlling/reporting, cash flow management, and process-oriented thinking.
• Structured, analytical working style, clear communication, and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Very good German and good English.
