Lead Expert VAT (m/f/d) – Focus on Value Added Tax

Your Tasks

You will become part of our dedicated Tax Team and actively shape the Value Added Tax processes of the Enpal Group. In this role, you will take responsibility, contribute your own ideas, and work closely with the VP Group Tax – short distances, extensive professional collaboration, real opportunities for impact.

In detail, this means:

• Competent and solution-oriented advice to internal specialist departments on Value Added Tax issues and support in implementing practical solutions.

• Data-based analysis of Value Added Tax risks and identification of optimization potentials.

• Strategic further development and digitalization of the process and system landscape in the area of Value Added Tax with the goal of sustainably establishing efficient, scalable, and future-proof work structures.

• Management of Value Added Tax projects in cooperation with external consultants.

• Support with Value Added Tax advance notifications and annual declarations of the group companies.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on taxation or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in Value Added Tax in corporate companies, a tax advisory/auditing firm, or the tax administration.

• In-depth knowledge of national Value Added Tax law.

• Structured and meticulous work approach, sense of responsibility, and initiative.

• Curiosity and willingness to learn, eagerness to provide tax support for new topics and business models.
