Lead Engineer

We are seeking a Data & ETL Testing Lead to drive quality across enterprise data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms. This role focuses on validating ETL processes (extraction, transformation, loading), ensuring data accuracy, and building scalable testing frameworks. You will lead a team of testers and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to guarantee reliable, high-quality data delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and execution of ETL testing strategies and frameworks; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements; Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes; Ensure timely and effective communication of testing results and findings to stakeholders; Identify and escalate critical issues or defects to data engineers and architects; Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of testing frameworks into production environments. You will be responsible for managing a team of testers, providing guidance and mentorship, and ensuring that all testing activities are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; 5+ years of experience in data testing, ETL process validation, and data quality assurance; Strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms; Experience with data testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Beam, AWS Glue); Excellent communication and leadership skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
