Lead Engineer (m/w/d)

As Lead Engineer (m/w/d) at DevBoost, you will combine the roles of project leader, strategist, and problem solver in a central responsibility.

You take on responsibility for individual DevBoost development teams and projects and act as a sparring partner for tech leads from various software manufacturers.

Aufgaben

When are you right with us?

• You lead teams of 3-5 developers who, in close collaboration with the development teams of our customers, realize complex development processes and software architectures.
• You understand yourself as a human interface between experts and development teams – with empathy, clarity, and technical depth.
• You are happy to provide critical feedback and act safely on an equal footing with experienced developers and tech leads (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Development).
• You do not see yourself as a service provider for the customer, but take leadership in collaboration and are actively shaping the customer relationship.
• You work in technical discussions (e.g. software architectures, CI/CD tooling, test automation) and concept work (e.g. refactoring strategies, optimizing development processes) and can actively participate in their implementation at any time.
• You moderate workshops with customers, clarify complex issues, and help established engineering teams to new impulses and solutions.
