Clinero frees dental practices from their greatest operational hurdle: billing. Our agentive system builds an application layer on existing practice systems and automates 90% of recurring billing tasks.

We are profitable, making >700k ARR, and have paying customers who trust our product. Now is the time for a strong engineer to make the difference: architecture decisions, feature shipping, and transforming our codebase into a scalable platform.

Aufgaben

Your Role: Bridge between Business Logic and Robust Application Architecture

You are the technical head of Clinero. As Lead Engineer in the team, you have maximum design freedom: You shape architecture, tooling, and engineering culture from scratch and build your own team prospectively. Hands-on programming is a central part of your role.

• End-to-End Ownership (Full Stack): You build and are responsible for our entire application - from backend (Python) to frontend (React/Next.js), where our medical coding experts work.
• Agentic Workflows & AI Architecture: You translate complex dental billing logic into robust software. LLMs and RAG are API building blocks that you integrate into deterministic, testable processes so they function reliably at 99% in the harsh practice environment.
• Legacy-Integration & Reliability: You are responsible for stable data flows in legacy systems. Whether APIs, UI automation (RPA/Computer Use) or agents - you build bridges into existing systems. Concepts like self-healing systems, observability, and atomic requests are standard for you.
• KPI-Driven Growth: We make tech decisions based on automation grade and time-to-market. You weigh pragmatically between technical excellence and customer benefit and prioritize what makes the product measurably better.

Qualifikation

Your Profile: The Pragmatic Generalist

We are looking for someone with a strong computer science foundation, who is technically deep and also speaks the language of business.

• CS-Fundament & Full Stack: 4+ years of experience in modern stack (Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, React/Next.js, Cloud-Infra). Important: Your heart beats for software engineering and architecture - you are not just a data scientist, but integrate KI as a tool into scalable products.
• Agentic Engineering & Efficiency: You are a technological pioneer and redefine software development. You master agentive frameworks as well as KI-native working methods (Cursor, Claude Code etc.) and are always on the pulse of how the agentic coding world develops.
• Startup Realism: You appreciate the security of a profitable business model, but can also handle the dynamics and speed of a small team.
• Integration Profi: You have built systems that function under real load and know that true automation occurs where legacy environments are tamed.
• Product Mindset: You think in user value and ROI. You have ideally already worked in a startup or been an (ex-)founder.
• Language: German on C1 level (essential for working with dental billing logic and regulation).
