Lead Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive Quality Assurance Luxembourg / Remote (1719)

With BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you take on a central role in the quality assurance of complex automotive systems. You analyze critical product problems, manage structured root cause analyses, and develop sustainable improvement measures. The main focus of the activity is remote work with regular project assignments in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

• Error Analysis: You lead complex root cause analyses using methods such as 8D, FTA, and Ishikawa and support the processing of critical product problems.
• Quality Improvement: You identify recurring error and quality trends and derive sustainable corrective and preventive measures.
• Product Quality: You support development teams in improving product safety, development quality, and process conformity.
• Data Analysis: You analyze quality and error data, identify systemic weaknesses, and create the basis for targeted optimizations.
• Problem Solving: You coordinate cross-functional teams in processing internal and customer-side quality problems and support the prioritization of critical errors.
• Customer Communication: You support technical coordination with customers on critical product problems and the resulting corrective actions.
• Methodological Competence: You convey best practices for structured problem solving and support the continuous development of development and quality methods.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Completed degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable technical field of study.
• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in Automotive, Automotive Electronics, E-Mobility, or a comparable technical environment, as well as initial experience in the technical management of projects or teams.
• ECU Development: In-depth knowledge in the development of electronic control units, ideally in the field of high-voltage inverters.
• Quality Methods: Practical experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, FTA, and Ishikawa, as well as strong process-oriented thinking.
• Standards: Knowledge of Systems Engineering as well as relevant Automotive Standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
• Tools: Experience with project, requirements, and ticket management systems such as Microsoft Project, Polarion, DOORS, JIRA, or IBM Rational RTC.
• Communication: Very good German and English skills, intercultural competence, and willingness to work approximately 30% of the time on-site in Luxembourg.
