The Opportunity: Lead Educator

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Location: Woodlands Early Education Centre (Waterford West)
• Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility
• Compensation: Up to $45 per hour + super

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead your team in creating and delivering an educational program fostering children’s learning and development.
• Prioritize children’s health and safety.
• Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.
• Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.

Qualifications:

• Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
• Current Qld Blue Card.
• Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.

About Us: Woodlands Early Education Centre opened in October 2011 and provides high-quality care and education for up to 194 children per day, from birth to school age. We are deeply committed to teaching sustainable practices and fostering values that support respect for the environment, community, and Yugambeh Country. Our rich curriculum includes Bush and Farm Kindy, Perceptual Motor Program (PMP), music experiences, and we are proud to be the only early childhood provider implementing the Reboot Program to support children’s emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing.
