About the role
As a Room Leader, you will create engaging, play-based programs, guide the planning cycle, and coach your team to deliver excellence. You will embed the EYLF and NQS into practice, support reflective learning, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver continuous improvement.
You will build strong relationships with families, foster children's development, and contribute to a thriving learning community. Your leadership will help educators grow in confidence and capability, while ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
What you bring
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), completed prior to October 2025
- At least 12 months of experience leading a room or team in an Australian early learning context
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, plus a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Confidence in engaging families, mentoring educators, and handling challenging conversations
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and planning cycle
- Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster
