Lead Data Platform Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Data Platform Lead to build and scale a next-generation data platform in a modern, fast-growing international SaaS company. This is not a traditional data role focused on reporting. You’ll design a flexible, auditable platform that becomes the foundation for automated credit decisioning, supplier and transaction scoring, predictive risk models, early-warning systems and AI-driven workflows. The ambition is clear: within the next 3 years, most credit decisions and operations will be fully automated, with data-driven insights informing strategic business decisions. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver this vision. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data platforms using cloud-based technologies such as AWS or GCP; collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop data pipelines and workflows; developing and implementing data quality controls and data governance policies; working with the data engineering team to design and implement scalable data architectures; and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
