A mid-sized company with a growing, data-intensive business model is undergoing structural development of its IT and data landscape. The existing system environment includes an ERP system, a connected B2B E-commerce platform, as well as several parallel data and information systems (e.g., online catalogs, price and vendor platforms). The goal is to consolidate data flows, create transparency, and enable sustainable decision-making driven by data.

Aufgaben

• Total responsibility for Data Management, Data Flows, and Data-Driven Systems (ERP, E-commerce, platforms, interfaces)
• Analyze the existing system and data landscape including Datenqualität, Redundanzen und Medienbrüchen
• Development of a clearly prioritized action plan and project plan
• Implementation of a data-driven IT strategy in close coordination with management
• Optimization and harmonization of mass data, interfaces, and reporting structures
• Further development of existing platforms (e.g., online catalogs, price & information systems)
• Closely cooperate with E-commerce, departments, and external service providers
• Facilitate a small team of experienced IT/system experts

Qualifikation

• Degree in (Business-) Informatics, Data Science or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in a responsible data, IT, or system role (e.g. Lead Data Manager, IT Allrounder, Team Leader IT)
• Excellent understanding of Datenarchitekturen, ERP Datenmodelle und Schnittstellen
• Experience in handling mass data, SQL databases, and reporting structures
• Fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and system operation
• Experience in cooperating with external service providers
• Excellent German and good English skills
