As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of data engineers, designing and implementing data architectures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our data platforms. Your tasks will include: • Designing and implementing data architectures that meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders; • Leading and mentoring a team of data engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects; • Ensuring the smooth operation of our data platforms and identifying opportunities for improvement; • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and applying this knowledge to improve our processes and solutions; • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and partners; • Participating in the development of our company's data engineering strategy and contributing to the growth of our data engineering team. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing data architectures; • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading and mentoring teams; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement; • Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and AWS; • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization.
