Job description
Job Purpose The role is to provide overall leadership and direction for data centre facilities management, ensuring high availability, operational resilience, and continuous improvement of all data hall critical infrastructure. Responsibilities Set strategic direction and operating model for data hall environments, ensuring high availability, scalability and operational resilience. Define and drive the overall facilities management strategy across sites with strong governance, accountability and clear decision-making processes. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment of data centre facilities management with overall business objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data centre facilities management. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science or business administration. Minimum 8 years of experience in data centre facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
