Aufgaben

The Role

As Lead Solutions Architect, you connect three worlds: the professional guidance of industrial customers in strategic energy and decarbonisation decisions, the active development of these customer relationships – and prospectively building your own team.

You start with clear project and professional responsibility and take over gradually disciplinary leadership responsibilities as you build your team. You accompany customers throughout their entire lifecycle – from the first strategic question to model-based analyses to long-term cooperation. While working at the interface of industry, energy systems, software and business development.

The role combines:

• Begleitung deiner Accounts zur modellgestützten Entscheidungsfindung für strategische Energie- und Dekarbonisierungsfragen
• aktive Geschäftsentwicklung sowie strukturierte Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung von Kundenbeziehungen
• enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kunden bei der Einführung und Anwendung unserer Decision-Intelligence-Software
• enge Kooperation mit unserer Software- und Modellentwicklung zur Ableitung und Umsetzung fachlicher Anforderungen

Your Tasks

Clients & Projects

• Begleitung von Industriekunden über den gesamten Lifecycle (Initialgespräch, Strukturierung der Fragestellung, Software-Demonstration, Implementierung, Strategiesteuerung, Weiterentwicklung)
• Leitung und Durchführung komplexer Energie- und Dekarbonisierungsstrategien
• Softwaregestützte Analyse industrieller Energiesysteme und Ableitung technisch und wirtschaftlich belastbarer Handlungsoptionen
• Fachlicher Sparringspartner für Kunden auf Management- und Werksebene
• Präsentation von Ergebnissen in Workshops, Entscheidungsgremien und Fachformaten

Existing Customers & Growth

• Strategische Betreuung von Bestandskunden
• Identifikation von Weiterentwicklungs- und Upselling-Potenzialen
• Aufbau langfristiger, belastbarer Kundenbeziehungen

Acquisition & Representation

• Mitwirkung bei der Gewinnung neuer Kunden durch inhaltsgetriebene Gespräche
• Nutzung des eigenen Netzwerks und aktive Präsenz in Fachkreisen
• Repräsentation von Path to Zero bei Kunden, Veranstaltungen und Branchenformaten

Leadership

• Perspektivisch übernimmst du die fachliche und disziplinarische Führung des Teams Customer Success / Industrial Energy and Decarbonisation Solutions

Qualification

Your Profile

You must bring this

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience – e.g. in energy, strategy or management consulting or in industry with responsibility for energy, transformation or investment projects
• Understanding of industrial energy systems, processes and the underlying physical relationships
• Able to structure complex questions and translate them into models
• Safety in communication with technically and non-technically oriented partners – on management and operational levels
• Interest in customer contact and business development
• Very good German and English skills

This would be a plus

• Experience with quantitative methods: energy system modeling, mathematical optimization, data science/time series analysis
• Knowledge of Modelica/Dymola, Python or similar tools
• Network in energy-intensive industries (e.g. chemistry, metal, glass, paper, cement)
• Experience in professional guidance or leadership
