Lead Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Manager

PHASOR Engineering Inc. is a dynamic Alberta based company specializing in engineering, design, and testing / commissioning of medium to high voltage electrical facilities. Focused on providing the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering, we are involved in a diverse range of projects from preliminary engineering through to the commissioning and startup. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Commissioning Engineer / Commissioning Manager join our field team to lead and manage the commissioning and testing activities for our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the commissioning and testing activities, ensuring that all projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This includes but is not limited to: developing and implementing commissioning and testing plans, coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders, conducting site visits and inspections, and ensuring that all testing and commissioning activities are completed in accordance with relevant codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in commissioning and testing of medium to high voltage electrical facilities. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning and testing of electrical facilities. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
