Lead Buyer IT Professional Services (m/f/d)

• Establishment and management of the Central Purchasing department and outsourcing management.
• Take responsibility for the introduction, administration, and further development of the central purchasing process, including associated tools, always in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and your team.
• Develop concepts for demand and supplier management, evaluate, select, and manage suppliers, and act as the central point of contact in IT procurement for the Professional Services product group.
• Actively participate in requirements workshops and support Proof of Concepts.
• Conduct tender and contract negotiations, make professionally sound decisions, and continuously optimize your workflows and processes.
• Coordinate stakeholder management and promote collaboration with specialist departments, risk management, and legal departments.
• Manage purchasing processes, suppliers, and process incoming invoices, including approval after cost center assignment by the specialist department.
• Review purchasing requests for plausibility, economic efficiency, and compliance with purchasing guidelines.
• Create reports for your area of responsibility and provide relevant key performance indicators.

• You have completed commercial training or a comparable qualification and have experience in purchasing, particularly in the area of IT Professional Services.
• You possess several years of experience in purchasing, ideally in similar product groups.
• You have experience with cloud contracts and in the implementation of central purchasing tools.
• You have initial experience in the regulated financial services environment, e.g., with DORA or GDPR.
• You are a strong communicator and can convey your messages appropriately to the target audience.
• You have a good understanding of IT, strong analytical skills, and an affinity for using modern AI applications to optimize processes and workflows.
• You work in a structured manner and document carefully.
• You impress with strong team and communication skills and approach tasks with a focus on goals, solutions, and customers.
• You work independently and goal-oriented, value high quality, and possess solid English language skills.
