Lead BI Business Analyst

About the role: As the Lead BI Business Analyst you will be responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and working with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, design, develop and deliver reporting and analytical solutions to drive business value. What you'll be doing: * Lead a team of BI Business Analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and support. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define reporting requirements. * Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications. * Design and develop BI solutions using tools such as Power BI and SQL Server. * Ensure data quality and integrity across all BI solutions. * Manage the BI project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing. * Work closely with the Data Engineering and IT teams to ensure data availability and accessibility. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics. * Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. * Drive continuous improvement of BI processes and solutions. What we’re looking for: * Proven experience as a BI Business Analyst or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience. * Experience leading and mentoring a team of Business Analysts. * Strong understanding of BI concepts and methodologies. * Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. * Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience with the full BI project lifecycle. * Experience in the lottery industry or regulated environment is a plus.
