Layout Artist - TV Featurette

Requirements Establish the staging, composition, and camera angles for shots in a sequence based on the storyboards, director’s notes, and the style of the show. Interpret and translate the 2D storyboards into 3D space to establish the camera shots and set up the composition. Work with the Director and other artists to develop the look and feel of the shots within the pipeline. Be a problem solver, and a team player, and have strong communication skills. Qualifications/Skills 3+ years of experience in 3D animation as a Layout Artist. Strong knowledge of camera composition, and cinematic language. Experience with 3D animation software, such as Maya. Knowledge of layout workflow and pipeline. Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
