Laundry Attendant

Job description:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything you'll need to do. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to take care of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Review daily task sheets and update completed tasks. Consult with supervisor if additional tasks arise during shift.
• Loading and unloading laundry and supplies from cart following department standards.
• Transporting laundry and supplies from golf cart or cart to designated areas.
• Organizing and storing incoming laundry in designated areas.
• SUPERVISING AND MAINTAINING DESIGNATED SUPPLY LEVELS.
• Maintaining and supervising work area cleanliness.
• Aiding housekeeping staff as assigned. Greeting each guest with a smile and appropriate greeting, using guest's name whenever appropriate. Attending to guest requests with friendliness.
• Making suggestions for improving general operations, emphasizing increasing guest satisfaction, revenue, and cost reduction.
• Demonstrating and maintaining basic standards of Auberge Resorts at all times.
• Working in accordance with hotel and department safety rules.
• Using hotel equipment safely and appropriately.
• Participating and supporting hotel and company sustainability efforts and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program.
• Performing other tasks as instructed, needed, or assigned.
