ALTEN is looking for Launch Engineers to support the launch phase at the manufacturing plant in Saltillo, with a main focus on Engineering Change Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of engineering changes (ECR), including analysis of impact on processes, equipment and production times
• Coordinate launch activities for new products and processes
• Prioritize and track the master plan and implementation schedule
• Validate plant layout (Lay Out) and ensure its alignment with technical changes
• Support the development of manufacturing processes alongside process engineering
• Manage technical information for equipment and tools involved in changes
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and facilitate technical problem-solving
• Ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements during changes
• Track launch projects from engineering to production

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
• Mastery of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.)
• Knowledge in traceability, safety and regulations (S&R)
• Ability to analyze financial impacts derived from technical changes
• Leadership and effective communication skills
• Basic knowledge of production and logistics
• Experience in launch project management
• Ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams
• MS Project and planning tool management
