Welder / Assembler day shift Malle - LONG-TERM CONTRACT

Job description Welder sought for leading steel producer in Malle. As a welder, you are the last link in the steel production process. After assemblers have assembled the steel structures, these come to you to be fully welded according to the welding specifications mentioned on the plan. You perform all common welding connections in all positions of small, large and complex steel constructions. Performing corner welding connections and through-welding on different materials such as steel, aluminum or titanium. You also ensure that the welds meet the required quality standards. Your work is characterized by a high level of precision, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility. You are able to work independently and in a team, and you have good communication skills. The welding process takes place in a production environment with noise, vibrations and heat. You must be able to work safely and efficiently in this environment. The working hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. You will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for the production of high-quality steel products. Your tasks include: - Welding steel structures according to plan; - Performing quality control on welds; - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment; - Participating in continuous improvement initiatives; - Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals. The ideal candidate has experience as a welder, preferably in the steel industry. You have a vocational training or higher education in welding technology. You are able to read and write Dutch and English fluently. You are willing to work overtime when necessary.
