Laser & Electro-Optics Electronics Engineer

St Engineering in Singapore seeks an Assistant / Principal Electrical & Electronics Engineer to design advanced electronics for next-generation laser systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in power electronics and PCB design. You will lead projects that integrate high-voltage power supplies and ensure compliance with safety standards. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in teams, contributing to cutting-edge technology that drives innovation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have experience with CAD software such as Altium Designer or OrCAD. In addition, candidates should be familiar with the following tools and technologies: PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD), power electronics, high-voltage power supplies, safety standards (e.g., IEC 61032), laser systems, electro-optics, and microcontrollers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electromagnetism, and control systems.
