Permanent full-time
38 hours a week + rostered day off every fortnight
Salary: $65,281.84 - $75,868.52 + 12% Superannuation per annum

What you'll do
As a Landscape Crew Member, you'll report to the Team Leader Landscape and deliver a wide range of high-level landscaping services across Council's parks, streetscapes, civic areas, and roadside gardens. You will be involved in both the construction and ongoing maintenance of outdoor areas, including playgrounds, sports facilities, walkways, irrigation systems, paving, walls, structures, and soft landscaping.
You'll be required to operate handheld tools and landscaping machinery, working collaboratively with a dedicated team to meet scheduled and reactive service demands while maintaining high-quality standards. You will contribute to fostering a positive workplace health and safety culture, exercising initiative and judgment to resolve day-to-day challenges, and promoting a customer-focused, team-oriented environment

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)
- Demonstrated experience and interest in landscaping and landscape construction.
- Demonstrated ability to operate small to medium size Landscape machinery plant and maintenance equipment excavator, skid steer.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices including IPads effectively, embracing digital solutions for works activities to enable field productivity and scheduling-based systems to facilitate day- to-day operations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in delivering information on operational and maintenance services.
- Hold a current MR/HR drivers' licence, WHS Induction Card. Competency qualifications to operate Excavator, Skid Steer.
Other Requirements
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement
- Participate in on-call roster and overtime (where applicable)
- Complete immunisation record of Tetanus or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
