Laboratory Assistant

Summary of the position: Relevant to the laboratory manager, the holder of this position will act as a Laboratory Assistant for the ABS Group inc. He/she will primarily perform laboratory tests and sample management. Main responsibilities: Perform laboratory tests on various materials (aggregates, soils, cement concrete and bituminous asphalt) according to current standards; Perform maintenance tasks on workstations; Participate in activities related to quality control and assurance; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols; Collaborate with the laboratory team to achieve project objectives; Provide support to the laboratory manager as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, environmental science); 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting; Strong analytical skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Familiarity with laboratory equipment and software.
