LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Execute analytical techniques described in company procedures, as well as support activities (glassware cleaning, preparation of solutions and standards, segregation and disposal of residues), meeting deadlines, maintaining organization, and ensuring the safety and integrity of all.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform different analytical stages, including weighing and homogenization, for example;
• Orient auxiliaries and interns;
• Communicate with the registration area (Login) regarding samples in processing;
• Conduct proficiency tests under Analyst supervision;
• Communicate any problems or material needs to Analysts or Coordination;
• Organize the laboratory for preparing materials (solutions, swabs, culture media, standard solutions), temperature checks, solution and reagent validation in use;
• Include information in the system (according to respective business line),
• File documents according to quality training;
• Request corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment for Analysts and/or Coordination;
• Segregate and dispose of residues.
