SPAGYRIK Produktions AG is a small family company that manufactures spagyric, homeopathic, and phytotherapeutic medicines from fresh plants, minerals, and dried drugs at its Burgdorf site, adhering to GMP guidelines, according to the guidelines of the HAB and the European Pharmacopoeia. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated, reliable, and independent laboratory technician for our company starting December 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Laboratory Technician: Quality Control of Herbal Medicines (80%)

What awaits you with us

With us, you will work with real plants, from freshly harvested medicinal plants to the finished medicinal product. You will accompany the quality of our products step by step and contribute to them working reliably.

• You will sample and analyze fresh plants, dried drugs, as well as auxiliary and starting materials
• You will test intermediate and finished products using HPTLC, GC, UV/Vis spectroscopy, and physico-chemical methods
• You will validate and verify methods
• You will evaluate and interpret analytical results and document them in a GMP-compliant manner
• You will help process deviations and co-author analytical regulations, specifications, and SOPs
• You will support us with stability monitoring
• You will lend a hand in daily laboratory work: instrument checks, orders, maintenance

What you bring with you

• A completed apprenticeship as a laboratory technician or a comparable qualification with several years of laboratory experience
• Experience in instrumental analytics (HPTLC, GC, spectroscopy); ideally with practical experience in a GMP environment
• A meticulous, independent way of working and enjoyment of clean documentation
• Confident use of MS Office
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, as documentation and SOPs are written in German / English skills for reading technical documents
• Desire for teamwork and to learn new things

This is a plus

• Experience with pharmacopoeias (e.g., Ph. Eur., HAB)
• Interest in fresh plants and herbal medicines, or willingness to learn
• Experience in method validation and writing SOPs
