Lab Technician – Dental Support (Brazil)

Role Details Work Arrangement: Work From Home/Remote Contract Duration: Full time The Role We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician to provide real-time clinical and laboratory support for a digital dental platform. This role focuses on scan review, design feedback, workflow troubleshooting, and close coordination with dental labs—supporting clinicians through live channels including chat, phone, and video. This position requires strong hands-on bench experience, deep familiarity with 3Shape, exocad, or similar dental CAD software, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Review and assess digital impressions and patient scans, providing feedback on quality, and identifying potential issues. Provide design recommendations for dental restorations (crowns, bridges, veneers, etc.) to optimize fit, function, and esthetics. Troubleshoot design and manufacturing workflows, offering solutions for technical challenges. Communicate effectively with dentists and dental technicians via chat, phone, and video to provide real-time support. Maintain a current understanding of digital dentistry trends, materials, and techniques. Assist with the creation of training materials and documentation for clinicians and lab technicians. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to improve platform functionality and user experience. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Lab Technician, with a strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative dentistry. Proficiency in dental CAD software such as 3Shape, exocad, or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is required. Experience with digital dentistry workflows, including intraoral scanning, digital design, and 3D printing. Additional Skills/Experience (Nice to have) Experience with quality control in a dental lab setting. Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials.
