Lab & Quality Assurance Manager

The Lab & Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all chemical analysis activities for production sites TK Ham, Geleen & Rouen.

You lead a team of 15 laboratory staff members.

You are responsible for

• Managing and coordinating the analytical activities to ensure maximum precision at minimum cost for all samples from production units TCH and other departments of TG, such as R&D, Sales, Complaints, SHE, ...
• Maintaining quality control in the TK Ham site and ensuring the proper functioning of internal processes (SAP, LIMS, ISO, HACCP in lab and production).
• Organizing and coordinating audits and setting up document control via DocuQuest for the TK Ham site.
• Advising on safety issues related to processes and product development.
• Providing technical support
  • To customers regarding information about products and FAQs in collaboration with commercial services (Purchasing, Sales, Complaints, ...).
  • To the SHE department
• Advising and supporting managers on process chemical technologies and engineering to optimize existing products and production processes and develop new ones while keeping technical knowledge up-to-date.
• Following up on new analytical techniques and implementing them.
• Counseling the QC team in TK Ham and developing expertise within the team through training and education.
• Organizing daily QC work, motivating and training QC chemists, and guiding students to optimize the added value of the QC department.
• Determining and implementing quality strategy and policy, ensuring that all production and supporting processes comply with existing standards for quality management and ensuring necessary product registrations (ISO 9001, MRM, Sectorgids G035, FAVV, HACCP) are available to bring TKH products to market.
• Responsible for setting up Qmeetings with stakeholders to identify quality problems and guide the organization towards suitable solutions.
• Advising on various aspects of managing and producing all existing products to provide relevant input to different departments about quality matters and ensure these departments comply with quality guidelines.
