The deputy delegate of the Area of Rural Development and Sustainability of the Provincial Government, Lorenzo Molina, together with the director of CiudadanÃa Foundation, J. José Salado, have presented this morning at a press conference the new edition of the Employment, Entrepreneurship and Business Fair, returning in online format after its last celebration in 2019.
Lorenzo Molina has highlighted that the Area he presides over has among its objectives the support for equal opportunities and rights between the rural and urban worlds, the launch of innovative initiatives and the promotion of entrepreneurship. To achieve these objectives, it relies on the Office of Entrepreneurship that directs its actions towards the provincial rural medium affected by the demographic challenge. It emphasizes the organization of Employment Fairs as an event that bets on strengthening employability and business growth in the province.
On his part, J. José Salado has explained that since the first fair was held in 2015, more than six thousand eight hundred people, both employed and unemployed with different profiles, have attended, presented and created over 500 curricula vitae, more than 300 companies from the province have participated, conducting interviews and collecting CVs, 670 job offers have been presented, and over 2,500 job interviews have been conducted.
It also indicated that this year, together with the Provincial Government of Badajoz, they have as a challenge to organize jointly the employment fairs in virtual format, a novel modality that pursues the objectives of identifying companies with recruitment needs and people with sufficient qualification, promoting, stimulating and promoting entrepreneurship and employment, addressing the challenges of the real labor market based on creativity, social impact, innovation and technology, as well as acquiring new skills and competencies for constant change, reinforcing ties with entities, institutions and individuals.
This new edition will consist of three virtual fairs segmented by areas of interest for the province of Badajoz, such as AgroEconomy, 29 and 30 June, Tecno Employment, October 5 and 6, and Employment Green, October 26 and 27. In this way, it allows the durability of contents thanks to the creation of a web platform where all resources and activities will be housed for all participants.
