You contribute to the sustainability, reliability, and conformity of our products, and work from our sites in Burcht and Bilzen.
1. Recycled Granulates
- You monitor the quality of granulates that arise from breaking down old concrete, asphalt, or other building materials.
- You check if these meet technical standards (such as BENOR) and environmental regulations (such as VLAREMA).
- You perform analyses on particle distribution, contaminants, and origin.
- You ensure correct documentation and traceability.
2. Hydraulic Bound Mixtures (HBM)
- You set technical mixing formulas for mixtures of granulates with cement or other binders.
- You monitor the production process and check parameters such as workability, hardening time, and strength.
- You ensure that the final product meets the requirements for foundation material in road construction.
3. Road Concrete
- You follow the quality of concrete used for roads and industrial sites.
- You check composition, hardening time, compressive strength, and surface finishing.
- You guide external audits and certification processes (e.g., COPRO).
4. Formulating recipes in accordance with regulations
- You set technical mixing formulas, aligned with project requirements and applicable standards.
- You take into account parameters such as particle distribution, binder types, moisture content, and workability.
- You work together with production and laboratory to test, refine, and validate recipes.
5. Self-control of the production, the production process, and the delivery of products
- You perform systematic controls on the quality of produced materials.
- You check if production proceeds according to established procedures and if final products meet technical specifications.
- You follow the quality of delivery: correct packaging, transportation conditions, and traceability. Attending and guiding external controls by certification institutions
- You prepare audits and inspections for certification organizations such as COPRO.
- You are present during these controls and serve as a point of contact for auditors.
- You ensure the follow-up of any comments or action points and implement improvement measures.
6. Preparing and maintaining the quality manual
- You develop and maintain the quality manual, in which all procedures, standards, controls, and responsibilities are recorded.
- You ensure that the manual remains up-to-date and conforms to the latest legislation and standardization.
- You communicate changes to involved departments and ensure correct implementation.
