Continous Improvement Officer (m/w/d)

About the Position:

The Continous Improvement Officer (m/w/d) is as diverse as our recipes & products. In first place, he/she is responsible for analyzing and optimizing processes such as material usage and consumption, energy management. Additionally, waste reduction strategies must be developed. Furthermore, he/she leads and conducts projects to continuous improvement using Lean- and Six Sigma-methods. Interchange receives training and training of employees for continuous process improvement. Rounded off is the position by project management, as the CI Officer is responsible for conducting projects.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

• A successful degree in food technology / engineering (or equivalent field) or additional specialized training with corresponding expertise and special knowledge
• Experiences in project management (e.g. TPM/ WCM/ Lean Six Sigma courses) and accompanying change processes
• 3-5 years of experience in the mentioned area, preferably in the food industry
• Experience in leading and guiding employees
• Experience in handling SAP/ERP systems as well as common MS-Office applications
• Flexible reaction to changing topics
• Fluent or secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• A motivated and reliable personality with a self-reliant, team-oriented, and responsible work style
• Analytical thinking, management competence, and assertiveness
• A strong sense of service orientation, decision-making competence, and high awareness for safety, quality, and costs
• Broad perspective on factory organization, resource planning, personal matters
• Understanding of other operational company areas (e.g. production, planning, technology)
• Self-assured but empathetic appearance combined with high communication skills
• A strong sense of leadership and experience
• A strong sense of communicative skills and initiative
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
