TOPAZ company, operating for over 30 years, has developed a high standard of retail outlets, an attractive offer, and a strong position in the regional market. TOPAZ currently has over one hundred and thirty outlets (own and franchise stores) in four voivodeships in eastern and central Poland. Our brand is constantly developing and we also have our own Logistics Centers, gas stations, TOP DRIVE catering points, BROFAKTURA Restaurant Brewery, we are building shopping malls, development investments, etc. We also have a Poultry Cutting Plant and NATALIA I SZYMON pastry shop and Sokołowska Bakery.

Currently, for the Purchasing Department at the Topaz company headquarters, we are looking for a person for the position of:

BUYER (m/f) - FOOD/NON FOOD CATEGORY

Your main tasks:

• execution of purchasing goals in accordance with the Topaz chain's purchasing policy
• responsibility for ensuring assortment continuity in subordinate product categories
• budget execution based on margin and the attractiveness of the offer for Customers
• analysis of market trends and acquisition of attractive novelties in assigned product categories
• conducting commercial negotiations
• coordination of processes related to customer promotions in cooperation with the Marketing Department, Category Management Department, and Operations Department

We expect from you:

• very good knowledge of purchasing processes and broad market knowledge, including knowledge of the operating principles of grocery store chains
• minimum 2-3 years of experience in the FMCG industry
• knowledge of negotiation principles with suppliers and manufacturers
• results orientation and data analysis skills
• professional maturity and the ability to cooperate effectively with employees at various positions
• ability to make autonomous decisions and skills in argumentation and justification of decisions made
• practical knowledge of the MS Office suite
