Customer Advisor (m/w/d)

The ivl is the IT service provider for the city of Leverkusen and the energy supply Leverkusen, and central point of contact when it comes to the use of information technology in the corporate network of the city of Leverkusen. We understand ourselves as a full-service IT provider and have a very broad and innovative range of services with high-security data centers, software areas, and customer-oriented support. Our approximately 100 employees ensure every day that IT and digitalization are implemented in public administration, energy supply, and many other public institutions and schools in Leverkusen.

Tasks

• You will be the central point of contact for defined departments of the city administration and be responsible for building and maintaining trusting customer relationships.
• You will steer collaboration between departments and IT, ensuring transparent priorities, clear responsibilities, and reliable results.
• You will advise on IT services, digitalization initiatives, and strategic development opportunities.
• You will ensure the implementation of agreed measures and keep track of progress, risks, and dependencies.
• You will promote solution-oriented collaboration and resolve conflicts and escalations.

Qualification

• You have a completed commercial or technical education or comparable qualification, ideally with experience in the IT service industry.
• You have experience in customer care, stakeholder management, or departmental support and enjoy coordinating complex organizational or IT-related topics.
• You are familiar with the structures and processes of a municipal administration or can quickly get up to speed and bring a good understanding of IT services and digitalization processes.
• You impress through your excellent communication, moderation, and advisory skills and manage to bring together different interests while making complex issues understandable.
• You stand out for your high level of customer orientation, commitment, and organizational skills and work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.
